Conservative transport spokesman Graham Simpson visited the UK’s biggest bus depot to hear about plans to roll out electric buses built in Scotland.
The Central Scotland MSP spoke to FirstBus bosses at their Caledonia base in Glasgow.
It has been trialling electric buses in the city and plans to get 148 over the next 18 months.

And Mr Simpson hopes the rollout of electric buses can help plug gaps in services, including in the East Kilbride area.
