A Bellshill man has been jailed for trying to bite police officers who arrested him for an alleged attack on his pregnant former girlfriend.
Hamilton Sheriff Court heard that Liam Meechan was in a rage when he turned up at his ex-partner’s home and found another man there.
Meechan, 37, of Baird Place, was accused of punching the woman repeatedly on the stomach.
