A councillor has expressed his concerns after two fires broke out in the same property in the Bristol area.
Multiple fire crews were called to a commercial property in Brislington after two separate blazes involving plywood and chipboard broke out at around 7.19pm on Tuesday evening (February 9).
Police and fire services determined both blazes were caused by ‘accidental ignition’.

Fire crews from Hicks Gate, Temple and Kingswood wore face masks and respirators to extinguish the blazes with a high-pressure hose reel and a 45mm jet.
Following the incident, a number of locals took to social media to discuss the rise of fires at the property, with many saying it posed a risk to the community.
Councillor for Brislington West, Andrew Varney, spoke to Bristol Live having been ‘concerned’ over the number of fires occurring in the same area, despite some of them being ‘accidental’.
