LightNight Liverpool 2021 takes place today with a programme of events, performances, exhibitions and games to enjoy in venues across the city centre.
From live drag performances to 15,000 paper doves suspended inside Liverpool Cathedral, there is something to appeal to almost everyone.
Last year, the one-day festival was forced to move online due to the coronavirus pandemic, and some of today’s programme is also web-based. So if for any reason you are not yet ready to venture into Liverpool city centre you can still take part at home.
The event begins at 5pm and runs until midnight at some venues – see full list of times below.
