A food or product recall is issued when there is a discovery made about an item that is deemed unsafe for the consumer. The latest recall comes from Lidl who is recalling a wallpaper stripper.
Posting the recall on its website, Lidl issued a statement notifying customers of the news.
In the statement, the supermarket said: “Lidl GB is recalling the Parkside Steam Wallpaper Stripper PDTA 5 A1 with the International Article Number (IAN) 332976_1907 as a precaution.”
The IAN number can be found on the top of the machine, under the handle.
Lidl added: “The lid may unexpectedly come off the green boiler container while the product is in use, resulting in a risk of scalding.
