Two flytipping incidents at a Wirral beauty spot led to widespread condemnation of whoever was responsible.
People took to social media to blast the “lazy scum” who dumped two large loads of what looked like builders’ waste by the side of a secluded country road.
The pictures were taken yesterday (Tuesday), close to the entrance to Storeton Woods, in the Higher Bebington area.

The waste was reported to Wirral Council, who responded by saying: “Wirral Council’s environmental enforcement team has been informed and will aim to investigate within three working days.
“Following an investigation any appropriate action will be taken to remove the waste.”
Storeton Woods is owned by Woodland Trust and is a popular location for visitors to enjoy the wildlife and explore the historical features of the site from when it was a sandstone quarry.
