Kate Middleton and Prince William married in 2011 and had their first child two years later. A parenting expert has detailed how they “broke the norms” of royal parenting.
Kate and Prince William have adhered to some of these, such as posing for official photo calls and hiring a nanny.
Parenting expert and managing director at Kiddies Kingdom Mohammed Patel explained how the Duke and Duchess have done some things differently.
He told Express.co.uk: “In the past it would be unheard of for a royal parent to kneel down to their child at a public engagement, but showing this kind of affection to her three children has become the norm for Kate.”
He suggested the royals have used some parenting techniques which have not been publicly seen by many royals before.
