Residents are being invited to explore Warrington’s history at a ‘Time Machine’ event this weekend.
The ‘Time Machine’ event will be held at Warrington’s Times Square from 10am – 4pm on Saturday July 31 2021, following its launch at the pop up people’s history space on Bridge Street last year.
The free event will tell the story of Warrington’s past, through street theatre, exhibits, arts and crafts.

Visitors can watch Community Objectives Theatre Group, who will bring some of Warrington’s most influential people to life through their performances.
The Museum of Policing, Lymm Heritage Centre and Warrington Museum of Freemasonry will present Warrington’s ‘Cabinet of Curiosities’, where visitors can look at objects from the town’s past.
Visitors can also see Warrington Crafter’s knitted representations of the town’s buildings and try to make some of the buildings themselves on the day.
