Turkey is a popular holiday destination for Brits but the coronavirus pandemic has curtailed travel to and from the country.
The government is constantly reviewing the status of travel to other countries during the global health crisis, with many moving to the UK’s green list in the latest update.
But Turkey remains on the red list, as the government announced the latest changes on August 26.

It means that those not a British or Irish national, or anyone without residence rights in the UK, are not allowed to travel from Turkey to the UK.
The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office say that those who return to the UK must:

Take a Covid-19 test in the three days before you travel to England

Complete a passenger locator form

Book a quarantine hotel package, including two Covid-19 tests
These measures apply even if you are fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
