Greece: Homes left destroyed as fires continue to rage
Leaders across the world have been shaken to the core by the IPCC’s gut-wrenching report that was published on Monday. The report collates the findings of thousands of scientists across the globe, who have all urged leaders to implement tangible changes to reduce carbon emissions as soon as humanly possible.

For years scientists have warned that if global warming exceeds 1.5 degrees, we will feel the impacts of deadly extreme weather and food shortages in every corner of the world.
In a press release, the IPCC wrote that the new report has shown “unless there are immediate, rapid and large-scale reductions in greenhouse gas emissions, limiting warming to close to 1.5°C or even 2°C will be beyond reach.”
They said: “Many of the changes observed in the climate are unprecedented in thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of years, and some of the changes already set in motion—such as continued sea level rise—are irreversible.”
