Graeme Souness has torn into West Ham defender Kurt Zouma after a video of the Frenchman abusing a cat went viral last week – with the Scot also criticising the Hammers for their reaction to the sickening clip.
Zouma, 27, landed in hot water after a video went viral of the former Chelsea star abusing his cat in his house.
The defender can be seen dropkicking his cat across his luxury £2million house, before throwing designer shoes at the terrified pet and slapping it in the face.
Fans across the world were enraged by the video, with calls for Zouma never to play football again.
Yet in Tuesday’s clash against Watford, manager David Moyes selected him in his starting lineup – much to the outrage of football fans across the globe.
And after doing so yet again prior to Sunday’s clash against Leicester, Souness gave his thoughts on the inclusion of the Frenchman – stating he had ‘zero sympathy’ for him.
“I have zero sympathy for him,” Souness raged.
“He’s turned up today and got abuse from his own supporters. West Ham’s roots are in the East end of London, salt of the earth people….
