Gordon Ramsay’s daughter Tilly has been trolled since joining the Strictly line up, as people asked to see her ‘celebrity’ credentials.
Tilly’s fans were forced to come to her defence after she was attacked online following the show’s announcement that she was taking part.
The nineteen year old – who will be the youngest ever contestant on the show – hosted Matilda and the Ramsay Bunch on CBBC alongside her family for five series until 2019.
She also has a strong TikTok following, notching up almost 10 million followers, and also appeared on her dad’s show MasterChef Junior.
Hearing that Tilly would join other contestants including TV presenter AJ Odudu, Peep Show’s Robert Webb, McFly star Tom Fletcher and Dragons’ Den investor Sara Davies on the show, set Twitter alight.
One person said: “I presume Tilly Ramsay is Gordon Ramsays daughter who is well known for? ……..”
Another said: “Who the hell is Tilly Ramsay? What a load of utter tripe. another Z lister using the name of her famous parent. #ThisMorning.”
