Fortnite update 3.21 is out now on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC.
The surprise new Fortnite update launches just a couple of days after update 17.10, which is the first major patch of Season 7.
The download weighs in at around 468MB on PlayStation devices, so it shouldn’t take long to download.
Likewise, there’s no server downtime required for the new update, so you can start playing the moment it’s installed.
The news was announced by Epic Games on Twitter, alongside the Fortnite patch notes for the latest release.
“We are deploying a maintenance patch on PC, PlayStation consoles and Xbox consoles to address stability issues on Xbox One and to fix the Combat Pro control layout issues,” reads an Epic post.
“We will let you know when the update is available on Nintendo Switch.”
As Epic points out, the latest Fortnite update will come to Nintendo Switch at a later date, probably within the next 24-hours.
According to Epic Games, the new update also addresses stability issues on Xbox One, specifically during the startup screen and loading into a match.
