UPDATE 2: Fortnite server downtime has ended for update 16.50.
As predicted, the Dual Pistols have been unvaulted as part of the new update, while Creative islands have increased in size.
“Downtime for v16.50 has ended. The Dual Pistols are out of the vault, and Extra Large Islands are at your disposal in Creative!”
Needless to say, a number of items have leaked as part of the update, which you can see from the image below (via FunGames).
UPDATE: Fortnite developer Epic Games has taken the game offline for update 16.50.
The game is expected to be offline for a couple of hours, which means maintenance should end by 11am BST at the latest.
“Downtime for v16.50 has begun,” reads an Epic tweet. “We’ll let you all know when downtime has ended and services are back up.”
