Branded ‘England’s most eccentric dresser’ by Vogue, many of the pieces Lismore has designed for his celebrity clientele will be on display in Coventry.
The exhibition, which ties in with Coventry UK City of Culture, will feature previously unseen private archive and materials and will examine social, historical and cultural themes central to Lismore’s work and life.
Personal materials, such as photos, found objects, ephemera, artworks and sketchbooks, will document and celebrate his journey from Coventry schoolboy to adolescent to famed fashion designer.
