Writing on Facebook, chairity bosses said: “Can we just ask for everyone’s understanding and patience – we are dealing with a lot of viewings and rehomings this weekend from the kennels (who are not affected by the traffic) – being rude to us just puts us further behind. We cannot control the traffic problems or make the M20 open up.
“It does mean we have had to postpone some viewings – Before people turn quite nasty on us for doing this – can you please look at the news – it is NOT OUR FAULT – we cannot just go out and move the traffic along or open the M20 – if we cannot get into the village – you also cannot into the village. We do not have an answer as to when it will all be resolved.”
