Does your pet have a problem, asks animal behaviour expert Karen Wild.
Most of us have little niggles we don’t want to live with (same for humans, too)!
However, some problems we can just let slide, but others? They grow, until we can’t ignore them any more.
So, we look for a fix! However, pet problems aren’t like a puncture. A quick result for any problems would be great, but we have to face the fact that this is very rare. Just like we might want to get thin in a month, get ripped and show a six pack without decent nutrition, or learn to speak Spanish the week before our holiday (although I do know a very good tutor if you need one). It’s easy to fall into the ‘as seen on TV’ trap and forget that behaviour problems in pets have often been learned over a long time.
When our pets have a problem, we feel upset, we feel stressed, we might deny the problems exist! But without your help, your pet can’t resolve their issues. It isn’t all your ‘fault’, but it isn’t all theirs either. Helping your pets is a team effort.
So, who do…
