A man has gone viral on TikTok after building a fully-functional swimming pool in his backyard in just 12 hours using a few wooden palettes and a tarp.
Caleb Harrison, 27, from Middle, Tennessee, decided to try and beat the sweltering summer heat by creating a DIY pool that he and his wife Kayla, 26, could relax in during the hottest months.
Eager to save money, the DIY enthusiast came up with a plan for a homemade pool that required just $140 worth of materials, as well as other items that he managed to source for free
In a video filmed by Caleb’s wife, Kayla, 26, he can be seen in the first stages of his project, drilling wooden pallets together and then adding a plastic sheet and some blue tarpaulin to the inside.
