A mother from Derbyshire has explained how joining an established beauty business helped her to clear thousands of pounds worth of debt.
Rachel Beecham, 50, from Ilkeston, initially worked in a card shop when she decided to change the direction of her career in 2009.
Having become £100,000 in debt and hit a low point, Rachel decided to join Avon and become a door-to-door sales woman for their beauty products.
At the time she was struggling for money and attempting to juggle childcare with work, and explained how she needed a change.

She said: “I was working in a card shop and was £100,000 in debt while struggling to juggle work with my son being at school and my husband also working difficult hours.
“A friend told me about the Avon opportunity and how the flexibility of having your own beauty business could help me earn money while being around for my son.
“I thought it could be a fantastic opportunity to get my life back on track as well as boosting my confidence.”
