UPDATE: A live stream on Tuesday July 13 has revealed more on the eagerly anticipated season 2 run of mega-hit anime Demon Slayer.
One of the highlights of the broadcast – which was called Kimestu TV, New Information Announcement Special – was the unveiling of a key visual for Demon Slayer season 2.
Besides the Entertainment District Arc artwork, a short teaser video was also revealed for the new season of Demon Slayer.
However, the Aniplex stream today didn’t reveal an exact release date for Demon Slayer season 2 as hoped.
All fans know for certain is that Tanjiro and co will be returning at some point in 2021.

Following on from the huge success of the record breaking Mugen Train movie (and the first season that started the anime phenomenon), Tanjiro and co are set to return with Demon Slayer season 2 – the Entertainment District Arc.
We’ve known for some time that Demon Slayer season 2 will have a release date in 2021, it’s just been a matter of when the first episode will drop.
