Shoppers hoping to grab a bargain or two have less than a month to make the most of the Debenhams closing down sale.
The retail giant reopened its stores in Southend and Basildon on Monday and launched a huge sale amid plans to close all of its shops for good.
The sale is offering up to 70 per cent off fashion and home products, and up to 50 per cent off beauty and fragrance lines.
It has led to long queues outside both the Southend and Basildon stores this week, with shoppers keen to make the most of the low prices.
But customers have been urged to get in there quickly as Debenhams plans to begin closing shops in two weeks time from May 2.
All stores will be permanently closed as of May 15.
A spokesman for Debenhams said: “This is the last chance for customers in England and Wales to visit their local Debenhams before sadly our stores close for good.
“We will be reopening with a fantastic range of offers and discounts across all of our customers’ favourite brands and products.
