An area of Crianlarich once blighted by visitors leaving human waste looks set to be turned into a community garden.
National Park planners have granted an application by Strathfillan Community Development Trust for a change of use of land at Lower Station Yard, Meadow Grove and land north west of Glenbruar House.
The trust has leased the two-part site at Lower Station Yard for several years with the most recent lease being signed in 2015 and set to terminate in 2025.
The proposed community garden has been earmarked for a triangular site to the east.
However, in recent years the trust has battled to deal with antisocial behaviour problems on the land.
In a submission with the application, the trust said the issue was “namely people defecating in the scrub area to the north of the parking area”.
They added it has been “very frustrating for local residents and the Trust” despite continuous efforts to tackle the problem.
