The best four days in horse racing is set to get underway with near perfect National Hunt ground conditions and the weather is due to play ball, so all is set fair for a monumental renewal of the Cheltenham Festival.
The feature race on day is the Champion Hurdle and the unbeaten Honeysuckle is a short price at 4/7 to repeat last year’s win in the race.
She will be hard to beat but odds-on is not very attractive so I’m looking in the ‘betting without the favourite’ market for some value and Zanahiyr is the horse I’ve come down on at 6/1 on the Betfair Sportsbook.
