Many Britons are still determined to have their overseas holiday in the sun – and are quite happy to use a vaccine passport if needed.
Research – commissioned by travel insurance provider battleface – shows that 62 per cent of those polled are in favour of more countries adopting vaccination passports with just 26 per cent stating they would be put off visiting any nation where they had to provide proof of a Covid jab.
The data comes as UK travellers wait for the results of the latest Global Travel taskforce review set to report back to Boris Johnson next week.
Some experts are predicting a traffic light system will be implemented with travel bans continuing for red countries, limited restrictions in place for green countries, and a combination of testing, vaccination passports and quarantines for yellow and amber countries.
