British Airways has added more than 90,000 extra seats to Greece, Canary Islands and Turkey for the summer after a massive surge in online demand.
The flights from Heathrow will include Greek destinations such as Crete, Corfu, and Rhodes; Lanzarote and Tenerife in the Canaries and the Turkish resort of Bodrum.
The new flights to Greece and the Canary Islands will be available for travel between June 21 and September 5. Bodrum in Turkey will also be available to fly to from July 18.
All the expanded BA routes are to countries currently in the amber category requiring quarantine on return to England. The announcement comes ahead of the UK Government’s next decision on its traffic light list of destinations for overseas travel.
