A Berkshire tattoo artist who turned to watercolour painting during lockdown to pay the bills has seen her paintings snapped up by collectors across the globe.
Becca Millerchip-Brown, the owner of tattoo studio Freakshow in Newbury – whose own body is a canvas of colourful and intricate ink-work – has built up a reputation as an animal and nature painter, after turning to painting during the pandemic to make some money.
Art has always been in her life – even before tattoos.
She exhibited at the Royal Academy in Edinburgh, sold a painting at Bond Street Sothebys, had artwork on display at art festivals and sold commissions locally before getting into tattooing.
