AN AUTHOR from Romsey has thanked her supporters after her book became an Amazon top seller within four hours of its launch.
Vanessa Dooley released the third edition of her book Are you ready for inspection? and it shot up the charts to be named number one bestseller in three categories – pre-school and nursery education books, school inspections, and early childhood education, writes Kirsty Dawson.
Vanessa is also the founder of Jigsaw Early Years Consultancy.
Her book is a practical guide to support those working in early years. It provides early years practitioners with the tools to be able to motivate their teams to evaluate and improve their practice. It gives tips to help with Ofsted inspections.
Vanessa published the first edition of Are you ready for inspection?, in September 2018, which was also a best seller.
The second edition was published in August 2019.
The third edition highlights the shift change in Ofsted inspections post-pandemic and the stress and anxiety this has caused many owners and practitioners.
