Despite so pantomimes across Oxfordshire having been cancelled, the Sinodum players annual pantomime ‘Sleeping Beauty’ at Wallingford’s Corn Exchange, will go ahead this weekend.
The organisation, who owns the theatre, announced last week that they are doing everything possible to ensure that the show goes on.
So far, the matinee performance has sold out, with many of the evening performances having sold extremely well, according to a spokesperson.

To improve the safety and comfort of the audience, two large fans have been upgraded in the auditorium to help purify the air passing through them, with ultraviolet light to help neutralise up to 99%of germs and viruses, including coronavirus.
This is in addition to the existing Covid safety measures, such as mask wearing.
