After spending months in front of the TV watching Netflix the time to enjoy a film on the big screen has finally arrived.
If everything goes to plan, restrictions are set to ease on May 17.
This means people will be able to hug again, go for a meal and actually eat inside, stay at a hotel and cinemas will be able to reopen.

Film fans will once again enjoy uninterrupted entertainment on the big screen.
Hollywood blockbusters such as No Time to Die, Top Gun: Maverick, Minions: The Rise of Gru and Fast & Furious 9 will be appearing on the big screen in the next 18 months.
The Rule of six or two households will also apply for visiting the cinema, meaning audiences can attend in a group of up to six from any number of households, or in a group of any size from up to two households.
