It may seem like summer is only just ending but preparation for some of Yorkshire’s Christmas markets has been underway for months already.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, a lot of markets were cancelled in 2020 but it looks like some of those will be back on this year.
With over 90 million vaccine jabs delivered in the UK so far, large events are now becoming commonplace and most of Yorkshire’s Christmas markets take place in the open air.

Yorkshire Live has looked into which of the county’s biggest markets are set to go ahead this winter.
Some will, some won’t and others are yet to be confirmed either way.

Leeds
A spokesperson for Leeds city council said: “In light of the evolving situation around the pandemic, we are currently working with our partners to determine the best ways to celebrate Leeds safely over the coming year.
“We will be sharing updates on the events schedule as soon as we can.”
