Eight years after leaving the firm, Phil Blackburn has re-joined boutique professional services firm Lubbock Fine as a partner.
Based in the firm’s London office (the firm also has a satellite office in Dubai), Phil Blackburn has been appointed Head of the firm’s Corporate Tax offering. He brings over 30 years of experience advising businesses and private clients in the City, Greater London and the UK.
Blackburn previously spent over a decade at Lubbock Fine, joining the accounting and consulting firm in 2002 from BDO as a senior tax manager specialising primarily in the domestic tax issues of corporate clients and owner managed businesses. He was promoted to partner in 2006.
In the intervening years, Blackburn worked for counterparts George Hay (which he also re-joined having started his career at the firm) and Lewis Golden. At both companies, he was a partner and a leader in the tax advisory practice.
