A SCHEME to use culture to boost Bradford’s evening economy has been launched.
Bradford Council has launched a scheme were groups or individuals can apply for grants to put on activities and events to “bring the district’s streets, towns and neighbourhoods alive with creativity.”
The Council says it is seeking imaginative and affordable projects to bring fresh creative ideas to local high streets, which will provide the opportunity for experimental collaborations between creatives, local businesses and communities.
The grant is for activities taking place any time between January and March and they can be in Bradford city centre or in any of the towns, villages or neighbourhoods across the district.

There is £20,000 of funding available and people can apply for a grant of up to £1,000 for their individual project. The closing date for grants is 5pm on January 7.
