Bolton manufacturer Booth Industries has reincorporated as Booth Industries International following a remarkable turnaround since its acquisition out of administration in 2019.
The Nelson Street business was bought by Avingtrans in June 2019 for £1.8m when its former owner Redhall Group went into administration.
However, today, Avingtrans, which designs, manufactures and supplies critical components, modules, systems and associated services to the energy, medical and industrial sectors, announced the move, and confirmed that Booth has become a standalone company, independent of its current parent company Stainless Metalcraft.
Booth has exceeded all internally set performance targets since its acquisition, said Avingtrans, which added that the reincorporation and international focus do not mean Booth Industries is moving away from its Bolton roots, but reflects its capability to provide specialist solutions to customers around the world.
