Cryptocurrency exchange Bitget has resumed its operations in the United Kingdom, confirming that it reactivated its UK website in line with the country’s financial promotion regulations.
The exchange previously restricted UK access in May 2024 to meet the Financial Conduct Authority’s (FCA) new Financial Promotions (FinProm) regime requirements. According to Bitget, its UK platform now hosts over 150 tokens, more than double what other exchanges offer locally.
The relaunch was enabled through an approval from Archax, an FCA-authorized firm specializing in financial promotions compliance. Archax’s endorsement allows Bitget to offer a wide range of crypto services to UK users, including trading and custody of various crypto assets, as well as tokenized real-world assets.
