David Lloyd Leisure Club, located on Stanney Lane at Cheshire Oaks, holds a gym, racquets facilities, indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a range of fitness classes.
On Monday (November 13) plans which were submitted to Cheshire West and Chester Council in September to extend the facilities to build an outdoor spa garden were approved.
The Design and Access Statement, submitted by Hadfield Cawkwell Davidson Limited, states: “The club currently does not offer a spa garden feature and has limited spa facilities. There have been considerable requests for an improvement to the facilities and this proposal aims to address these requests.
“It is proposed to build a new internal and external spa facility in close proximity to the existing pool hall. The area chosen for the spa extension is an existing service area and outdoor terrace.”
