A publisher’s software company has moved from one regional daily’s office to another following the group’s takeover.
The Midland News Association’s software company PCS has confirmed its staff have moved to Grosvenor House, in Telford, which is home to the Shropshire Star, following of the group to National World.
The MNA put Queen Street, the home of the Wolverhampton Express & Star since at least the 1880s, on the market earlier this year.
The MNA was sold to National World in an £11m deal last month and it is understood an update on where the E&S will be based in future will be issued in the coming days, although Queen Street has not yet been sold.
PCS managing director Matt Whiles said: “We are thrilled with our new headquarters, and the tranquil environment of Grosvenor House resonates with our vision for the future.
“We look forward to embracing the possibilities that lie ahead under our new ownership with National World, which could open doors to a realm of exciting prospects in the world of publishing software and media landscape.”
