A Bedlington Terrier which previously consumed a half-smoked cannabis joint at a Staffordshire beauty spot has now eaten ‘cannabis leaves’.
Holly found them dumped under a bush at Cannock’s Calf Heath Reservoir.
Owner David Williams says the incident follows Holly once consuming a half-smoked cannabis joint, which also had to be flushed out of her system.
The pooch became ill after eating the leaves.
David recognised the half-digested cannabis leaves as his dog began to appear to feel sick on November 19.
He rushed her to a, vet who gave her an anti-drug injection.
It was just four months after Holly needed tablets to flush out her system after she ate a half-smoked cannabis joint.
David, aged 58, from Cannock, said: “I’d taken her for her usual walk and let her off and she’d gone sniffing behind a bush.
“I called her back and when we got in the car she didn’t look right and she smelled strange.
“I recognised it as cannabis because we’ve had a lot of anti-social behaviour around here so I know what cannabis smells like.
