If you use the popular VPN service NordVPN, you’ll be interested to hear that an important update was recently released for the software.
The big news in version 6.6.1 of NordVPN is the addition of full support for Macs based on the M1 chip – in other words, for the latest models of MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, Mac mini and iMac.
The software has now been optimised for the new computers, which means significantly faster performance than before. But it also works on Intel machines, and there is a single version for both.
“The NordVPN app for macOS is universal,” the developers write, “meaning it can run natively on both architectures and there are no extra steps besides a regular update you need to take to continue enjoying the top-notch performance.”
