Sky TV film crews were in Coventry this week to finish a new television series which will see a new piece of public art erected on the former Ikea store in Coventry.
It is hoped the artwork, one of a number being created as part of a new Sky Arts series, will become a new national landmark.
The new Landmark series will air in September, with artists from across the country filmed taking part in six heats to compete to create the UK’s next major landmark.

Viewers will be able to see the winning Coventry piece when the final episode airs on Monday, October 18.
Around £250,000 has been spent on the Coventry piece.
Phil Edgar-Jones, director of Sky Arts and Entertainment, said: “For our new series Landmark we wanted to make a piece of art which would connect with the history of Coventry and would allow us to leave something for people to enjoy for years to come.
