East Kilbride’s very own Lorraine Kelly has been named as the nation’s favourite female TV presenter.
The accolade is based on a sentiment analysis of Tweets about popular hosts posted over the last year.
She beat the likes of fan-favourites Laura Whitmore and Holly Willoughby to top spot in the top ten female presenters.

The research, conducted as part of the Self-Made Celebs study, showed that former East Kilbride News reporter, Lorraine, has seen the highest influx of positive Tweets from fans of her show over the last year, compared to other popular female hosts analysed in the study.
