A seven-year-old girl has been dubbed the ‘next Greta Thunberg’ after becoming one of the youngest people ever to give a TED talk.
Molly Wright, a year two pupil from Queensland, Australia, stood in front of an audience of hundreds to give her speech on how every child can thrive by the age of five.
The talk, which has been streamed hundreds of thousands of times within hours of going live, saw Molly joined on stage by one-year-old Ari and his dad, Amarjot, to help illustrate her big ideas about brain science.
‘What if I was to tell you that a game of peek-a-boo could change the world?’ Molly asks, already nailing the trademark TED style of long pauses and pitch perfect intonations.
Dressed in denim dungarees with a heart on the front, she quickly charms the crowd.
