HOLLYWOOD actor Martin Freeman has been out on location again filming in St Helens.
The cast and crew of the new six part BBC drama The Responder returned to Taylor Park today (Monday).
Freeman was spotted filming scenes beside a bench near the edge of the park’s boating lake.
Park-goers were surprised to stumble across film crews this afternoon as they were out on an afternoon walk.
One said: “It was certainly a surprise to see the camera crews in the middle of the park. I looked over to the water’s edge and we could see Martin Freeman clearly.
“It was brilliant to see such a big name on the doorstep. They were actually filming on a bench that looks out over the lake – it’s one of the most beautiful spots in the park, so I’m not surprised they chose it as a location.”
