New fly-half signing Danny Cipriani has spoken publically for the first time since joining the club last month and discussed his vision for Bath Rugby’s attack.
Having watched a couple of the club’s games from the stands at The Rec and started training with the squad, Cipriani has made his assessment of the state of Bath’s often misfiring attack and what needs to change moving forward.
The Blue, Black and White sit ninth in the table with one game remaining and the match points to be allocated by a panel following their cancelled game against Gloucester Rugby this weekend. Bath look set to be handed a five match points and a 28-0 victory which could prove vital in the race to qualify for next season’s Heineken Champions Cup.
Only the top eight will play in Europe’s premier cup competition.
Former England international Cipriani is not expected to play in the Blue, Black and White this season, having had a prolonged break away from the game since leaving Gloucester in December due to personal off-field issues.
