A new underground arcade bar is opening in Manchester city centre this month, and it’s after testers to try out the games and beers on offer.
NQ64, already well-established in the Northern Quarter, will be taking over a basement unit on Peter Street.
The site next door to Albert’s Schloss used to be the home of celeb favourite nightclub Club Liv.
The offering now will be very different, with arcade games, bags of retro crisps, and glow-in-the-dark graffiti.
The venue plans to launch on Monday June 21, the same day the Government roadmap is supposed to reach step four and allow nightclubs to reopen.
They’ll be giving away free drinks and merch to celebrate the grand opening, which has been brewing behind the scenes since last summer.
NQ64 first opened in a back alley of the Northern Quarter in 2019, taking punters on a serious nostalgia trip with its mix of gaming experiences.
