Dallas sweeps up at awards gala
Stuart Dallas scooped up three honours on Sunday evening as the club wrapped up their Premier League campaign.
The Whites beat West Brom 3-1 at Elland Road to end the season in ninth place, whilst welcome fans back for the first time in over a year.
The club held their internal end-of-year awards ceremony after the match, with Dallas claiming two of the trophies.
The Northern Irishman was voted Players’ and Fans’ Player of the Year, whilst also winning Goal of the Season for his last-gasp winner away at Manchester City.
“It’s incredible,” Dallas said when he picked up his third award of the season, the fans-voted Player of the Year in which he secured 77 per cent of the vote.
“I’m sort of lost for words. Firstly I want to thank everybody that voted for me. It could have been anybody. Everybody’s been incredible this season.
“It’s been a difficult year for everybody and for me to win this is unbelievable.”
